Katrina Bedard - RVT/Office Manager          

Katrina has been with the Alberta Veterinary Center since March 2018 as a Registered Veterinary Technologist and has taken over our Office Manager position. If you have called the clinic, most likely it is Katrina helping you on the other side of the phone. Katrina has a passion for animals and had been working as a technologist for 3 years in a mixed animal practice before her interest in equine medicine brought her here. She is involved in all aspects of patient and client care. She has a professional interest in equine anesthesia and has completed advanced training in this area.

Christina - Receptionist

Christina was born and raised in Calgary where she started working at her first clinic in 1994. After working in Airdrie and Beiseker in small animal practices for 15 years, she moved on to the  Agriculture Centre on the poultry health side. In 2014 she moved to Sylvan Lake with her husband and son. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, movies, and walking her dog!  

Phoebe Oudshoorn - Veterinary Assistant

Phoebe joined the Alberta Vet Center in January of 2019. She brings a wealth of knowledge to our large animal department as she is a graduate of the BC College of Equine Therapy and has a diploma from the Equine Science program at Guelph University. She is currently furthering her education at Lakeland College in the Animal Health Technology program.  Phoebe can be found assisting our veterinarians and techs in all areas of the hospital but from spring to fall you will find her out at our reproductive facility assisting with the breeding program.
